野村料本月博彩股收入按年升27至30% 首選美高梅

野村證券發表報告, 在本月5日至11日的一個星期, 澳門博彩收入約50億3000萬澳門元, 平均每日博彩收入7億1900萬澳門元, 比對上一個星期, 增長百分之6, 不過, 與5月份的平均博彩收入比較, 下跌百分之2. 野村預期, 今個月博彩收入201億至207億澳門元, 按年增長兩成七至三成, 繼續由貴賓廳帶動增長, 並預期, 下半年博彩收入增長, 將會減慢. 野村建議選擇性吸納博彩股, 首選美高梅中國(02282), 其次是銀河娛樂(00027)及澳博控股(00880), 評級都是「買入」. 美高梅最新報17.02元, 升半成, 銀娛報48.5元, 升百分之2, 澳博報8.43元, 升半成.

PEZA to allow online gaming operators in IT buildings

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) will allow online gaming operators in PEZA-accredited buildings but these would not be entitled to incentives. Charito Plaza, PEZA director-general, said the agency has reached a compromise with a task force allowing owners of PEZA-accredited buildings to lease out their “extra” spaces to online gaming operators that are licensed with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor). Plaza said the agency will require these companies to secure permits to locate in the PEZA-accredited buildings. But Plaza said she still has to seek guidance from Malacanang on how online gaming operators registered under the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) and the Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority (APECO) and are located in PEZA buildings can be regulated. PEZA to allow gaming firms as locators

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (Peza) will now allow gaming firms in Peza-accredited buildings after being prodded by the Office of the President, abandoning its previous position to kick out gambling firms that share the same space with Peza locators. Peza Director General Charito B. Plaza told reporters last week that she would allow any gaming firm that might have been given license by any of these three agencies: Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (Ceza) and the Aurora Pacific Economic Zone Authority (Apeco). This is a sudden change in its position after just deciding in April not to let gaming firms share the same buildings with Peza-registered business process outsourcing (BPO) firms, cautioning against being implicated in the infamous reputation of online gambling. PA's Gambling Expansion Bill

The Pennsylvania House of Representatives approved a sweeping gambling bill last week to generate money for the cash-straved state. House Bill 271 was introduced by Republican lawmakers and passed narrowly by a 102-89 vote with legislators from both parties voting for and against the proposal. The bill would allow video gaming machines to be operated by bars, truck stops, bowling alleys, VFW's and private clubs. It could lead to about 8,000 establishments operating nearly 40,000 machines - each generating tax revenue for state and local governments. It would also facilitate the development of online gaming and lottery playing and allow online fantasy sports gambling. Supporters point to the much-needed tax revenue. PAGCOR steps in on SunCity casino takeover

Casino junket operator SunCity Group has drawn the attention of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) after its unauthorised takeover of a small casino at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza. According to a The Philippine Inquirer report, Success Vine Holdings obtained a Pagcor license to conduct junket operations in a three year deal which started in August 2014. The SunCity group, however, appear to have taken over the small casino’s operations without permission. It is understood that the Philippine gaming regulator caught wind of the takeover after a launch party a few weeks ago, where some lower-level Pagcor functionaries were invited. In response, Pagcor Chair Andrea Domingo has reportedly sent a letter to Success Vine, warning the operator that it could lose its license for bring SunCity into the picture.
